Sandbar escape in Miami — Biscayne Bay sandbar

The sandbar is the reason people fall for Biscayne Bay. You anchor in water that comes to your waist, the boat stops being transport and becomes furniture, and the afternoon takes as long as it wants to. It is the most requested day we run and the one guests book again.

How it runs

What decides the day

Three things we would tell you on the phone before you booked, written down here instead.

  1. Bring less than you think. Shade, water, a floating platform and lunch cover most of it.

  2. The catamaran is the steadiest deck for a long sandbar day; the Open 23 reaches the shallow edges the larger hulls cannot.

  3. Tide decides the timing more than the clock does, so departure is set once we see the day.
