MAREMIAMI YACHT CHARTER

Legal

Privacy policy

This site is a set of pages describing a fleet, plus a form that writes a WhatsApp message for you. The form does not send anything anywhere. MARE receives nothing from you until you press send inside WhatsApp yourself.

The form does not send anything

What you type into the form stays in your browser. Pressing the button does not transmit it: it assembles the words into a message and opens WhatsApp with that message already written, on your device, under your account. Nothing has left your phone or your computer at that moment, and you can still edit it or close the window.

This site has no endpoint that receives enquiries. There is no inbox behind the form, no database of submissions, and no email: the fields you fill in are never stored here, because there is nowhere here for them to be stored. If you never press send inside WhatsApp, we never learn that you wrote anything.

What reaches us, and why

From the moment you press send in WhatsApp, we have what any WhatsApp conversation gives: your message, your WhatsApp number and whatever your account shows as name and picture. The message itself carries only what you chose to write — the name for the charter, the date you are considering, the size of your group, the occasion, the length of day, and anything you added in your own words.

We use it to reply, to check availability for your date, to prepare the written quote we send you in that same conversation, and to arrange the day if you go ahead. We do not sell enquiries, we do not trade them, and we do not use them to build advertising audiences. We do not ask for identification, payment details or any special category of personal data through this website.

The conversation lives on WhatsApp

This matters and it should not be buried: once the message is sent, the exchange is a WhatsApp conversation, carried on WhatsApp's infrastructure. It is therefore subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy — and to whatever its parent company does with the metadata of a chat — in addition to anything we say here. We can speak for how we handle your message; we cannot speak for the platform that delivers it.

Messages are end-to-end encrypted in transit between your device and ours, and both copies live on the two phones. If you would rather not use WhatsApp at all, do not use the form: this is the only channel MARE operates, and the honest answer is that there is no alternative to offer you.

Cookies and tracking

As the site stands today it sets no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels and no analytics that follows you across other sites. Fonts, images and video are served from this domain, so loading a page does not hand your visit to a third party.

Opening a WhatsApp link does leave this site: from that point you are on WhatsApp, and their rules apply. If anything else changes, this page changes with it, and the change is stated here rather than absorbed quietly.

Who sees your message

The person handling your charter reads it. Where answering you requires it, the relevant detail — the date, the group size, the services you asked for — is shared with the owner or management company of the specific boat, and with the suppliers for the services you requested, such as catering or entertainment.

Only what is needed to answer the question is passed on, and only to the parties involved in your charter.

How long we keep it

The conversation stays in the WhatsApp thread for as long as it takes to answer you and, if you book, for as long as the charter and its paperwork require. Threads that do not become bookings are kept as a record of the conversation and then deleted.

The exact retention period is one of the points that has to be fixed with a lawyer before this page is published.

Correction and deletion

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it entirely. Write it in the same WhatsApp thread, or open a new one from the link below: it opens with the request already written, and the number you write from is enough for us to find the conversation.

We act on the request and confirm in writing when it is done. You do not have to give a reason. Deleting your own copy of the chat is something only you can do, from your own device.

Changes to this page

When this draft is replaced by the reviewed version, the date of that review is published here. Until then, treat this page as a statement of intent rather than a legal notice.

WhatsApp on +1 (786) 281-7428 is the only channel MARE operates: there is no email address, no contact form that submits anywhere and no booking endpoint behind this site. It is also the way to reach us about anything on this page.
